Deep Blue Shark 

The deep blue shark is identified easily by its colors. Its color is deep indigo, so that it is easy to recognize. It has large fins and snout. It is large and has a slender body shape. The teeth of both jaws in a triangular shape. Due to its dark blue color and slim body, it is easily identified in deep water. But if it is removed from the water, it looks like a Grey color. It has a long snout and large eyes. The blue shark can eat fishes and turtles. 

Appearance

The blue shark mostly founds in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. The blue shark likes to live in warm water. It is found in-depth of water, about 200 meters. The temperature of the water must be 10 to 20 degrees Celsius. But sometimes it is seen near the surface of the water during the summer season.

Reproduction

The blue shark is a viviparous species, nourishing the young in the uterus and pregnancy to live pups. The new born puppies quantify 40 to 51 cm (16 to 20 inches) in total, and litters usually include between 25 to 50 individuals. Litters of around 135 puppies are reported. Females reach sexual maturity in an average of 2.2 to 3.2 meters (7 to 11 feet), whereas for men, there can achieve it at spans of 1.8 to 2.8 meters (6 to 9 feet)approximately 6 yrs of age. Once copulation, the females can nourish and retain the spermatozoa from the oviducal gland for two weeks or years while anticipating ovulation. Once the eggs have been fertilized, There Was a gestation period of between 9 and 12 weeks. 

Diet of Deep Blue Shark 

The diet with this shark incorporates various kinds of fish and squid, and could sometimes eat seals. Even though flatfishes make part of this diet, gloomy whales chiefly consume pelagic fishes like herring, silver hake, white hake, red hake, cod, haddock, hake, butterfish, sea raven, salmon, and swordfish. Fish caught on long lines throughout fishing have been usually assaulted and consumed with blue whales, which frequently become trapped from the fishing gear. They have been opportunistic and are known to prey on rats and porpoises too.

The blue shark is very active and aggressive. So that it is more challenging for divers, sometimes it is recorded when it is attacking divers. It is the most potent shark so that it is difficult to catch and hold. It is a noncommercial shark. But nowadays its population decreased due to overfishing.
